Farmer's Market Trip

On Saturday we made a trip to the Cherry Creek Farmer's Market to pick up some in season yumminess.
Fresh sweet corn (Ohio corn is still way better!) and rhubarb

Fresh Palisade peaches.
Eric sees strawberry rhubarb pie and peach butter in his future :)

Of course, we picked up some things not needed, but highly desired.  . .

We came across a Pierogi booth, and I've never said no to a pierogi, so of course we stopped. There is a new Polish restaurant and vodka bar ( I can do without the vodka part- ICK!) that opened in downtown Denver. To gain interest they opened a booth at the Farmer's Market. We had pork filled pierogis. Holy. Cow. Amazing! I think we'll definitely be headed to the Polish(ed) Tavern pretty soon!

We came home after our adventure and found some ready for picking peppers in our own back yard! The banana peppers were ready to be chopped up and put on grill pizzas for the Broncos game Saturday night!
