Pouting

I had to share a picture of Indy pouting about not getting a walk because it's cold and snowy. 
We couldn't stop laughing!

Snow!

 Yep, it's here. Six inches of the white stuff. It's supposed to stop overnight and be in the 40s and sunny tomorrow, so hopefully it all melts :) Thankfully, I got in yesterday while it was raining and I was able to beat the snow, so no delayed flight for me! 

Indy is of course in his glory because he loves snow. He rolls in it, plays in it and lays in it. He keeps whining to go outside, but we keep saying no because it's cold and I think as he's walking away he's swearing at us in dog. 

My herbs as you can see below are now toast. Oh well, maybe I can stick 'em in the dehydrator and just grind them up.

Kayaking!

Today we took out the kayaks! We haven't both been able to kayak at the same time since we moved out here since we only had my kayak. Eric's had been living rent free (freeloader!) at friends' house for the past 4 years. That is until this past Labor Day when it made a cross country trip with us. 

It took a little bit of getting used to again since we hadn't "yaked"in awhile, but it came back quick and it was nice to paddle around at Bear Creek today.

Bear Creek- it's in Lakewood in the foothills about 25 minutes from the house.

Golden Gate State Park

On Saturday, Eric, Todd and Scott took the dogs up to Golden Gate State Park to play in the lake while the guys fished. You can see the Aspen trees starting to turn and of course, a couple good shots of a very wet and dirty, yet happy pupper dog!
