Canvas & Cocktails

A few weekends ago my friends and I went to a “Canvas & Cocktails” class in Cherry Creek. The purpose of the class is really just to be social and to take home a conversation piece when you’re done being social. I say conversation piece because the accurate depiction of the object you’re painting varies greatly based on ones’ ability to follow directions while drinking a mimosa (or two!). Nonetheless, the class was a blast and I’d say we did pretty well at painting our peacock feather (you were starting to wonder if that’s what it was, weren’t you?). Heather, Laura, Trista and I intend to do another class since this was so much fun and we all have laundry rooms that need art on the walls! J
