This past weekend we hosted our Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving with our friends out here. It was so much fun, but crazy at the same time! I’ll run the stats for you just so get an idea of how big of a day Saturday was:
Guests: 11 people, 1 baby and 7 dogs
Dishes Washed: 8 loads. I am almost certain every piece of flatware, every dish, glass, bowl, mug and serving platter we own were washed at least once. And by hand at that, as we don’t have a dishwasher!
Football Games: 6 games in total were watched
Pounds of Food Consumed: Had to be in the neighborhood of 60
Impressive I know. I am being truly serious when I say it’s Tuesday and I think I just now finished digesting all the food from Saturday.
A menu is below (I’ll admit we ate like kings!) along with some pictures. I got as many as I could in between making food and getting it all put together, so my apologies for some of the picture gaps.
As for actual Thanksgiving Day, we’re heading to Albuquerque to hang out with friends.
