Foodie Weekend

Again, I need to apologize for the long delay between posts! Sorry!
Two weekends ago we did quite a bit of cooking! Eric made chili for the Pumpkin Carving Party at Katie and Todd’s. Very yummy and luckily we got some leftovers, and I made apple butter, apple sauce and homemade apple doughnut holes! {apples were on sale at the grocery store- no judging}
Eric’s chili made far less mess in the kitchen than did any of my apple items, but hey, a mess just means it tastes better, right?
Pictures are below of all the fantastic food. Before you ask, yes, my apple sauce is dark. No, I didn’t burn it, but I did add some cinnamon and nutmeg to it for giggles. I did deep fry the doughnuts in Todd’s tabletop fry daddy, which is why they look so delicious.
