Over the past month and a half our schedule has been pretty crazy between my recruitment travel, Eric having to plow snow at obscene hours of the night and then work odd shifts for the Home & Garden show, so Indy has been getting into various things around the house. While none of his adventures have resulted in destruction, we still don't need him locking himself in the bathroom again!
Our friend Heather recommended these toys to us, and believe me we were skeptical until she said they all involved food! I looked them up on Amazon.com, and apparently these are quite the popular toys in the doggy world!
Below are pictures of Indy's Shuffle Bone Puzzle and his IQ Ball. I'm hoping this weekend to get some video of him trying these out! Hopefully he's interested in them and they can occupy him the next time our schedules get wacky!
You can put a 1/2 cup of dog food in the ball and the idea is to roll it around until it comes out the hole in the top. The white piece can be added to make it harder to get the food once {if} Indy figures it out.
| You can put treats in the holes and slide the cover over to hide it. The point is for the dog to use his paw to move the sliders back and forth so he can get the food. |
